EASY Slimming World Beef Stew – 1/2 Syn

Peel and chop up your carrots and Onions 

Cut up your mushrooms in to quarters

In a warming pan spray some fry light

Add onions and cook for 5-10 mins to brown them

Cut the fat off the steak and cut it in to small chunks

Add carrots and steak into the pan with the onions

Add tomato purée and the Rosemary & Thyme 

Then add in the Salt & Pepper and 800ml of water

Stir everything together

Simmer on a low heat for a hour

Stir on occasion to ensure nothing sticks to the pan. 

After an hour, add your mushrooms and gravy granules

Stir again and simmer for 20-30 mins

One final stir and it’s ready to serve. 

Can have it on its own, with mash or a lush bit of bread.

You will need:

1 large onion
Fry Light
2 carrots
380g braising steak, all visible fat removed
1 level tbsp tomato purée
1 Tsp Rosemary
1 Tsp Thyme
170g mushrooms
2 level tsp onion gravy granules
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
