My GLP1 Weight Loss Journey:

The Honest Update

A New Year, A New Update

Hey guys, it’s been a while!

I wanted to start the year with a proper catch-up. We’ve just been out on a beautiful, frosty New Year walk with the girls – sun shining, cold air, lots of laughter – and it reminded me how important it is to move, breathe, and enjoy the little things.

Last year was hectic with work, so vlogging and sharing the extra bits of my life had to take a back seat. But this year, I’m making more of an effort, and that includes giving you a full update on my weight loss journey – the heart of this channel.

Taking the Leap with GLP1

If you’ve been following me, you’ll know I started a GLP1 called Mounjaro last year. I didn’t make this decision lightly. I spent months researching, reading medical journals, and talking to others who had tried it. I even spoke with my sister, who had great success, which gave me the confidence to take the plunge.

The turning point came during a “food noise” day – you know, when your brain won’t stop nagging about snacks and sweets. I thought, if Mounjaro can help with this, it might genuinely change my life.

How It Works for Me

I ordered my Mounjaro through MedExpress, which was straightforward and super reliable. The first injection? Nerve-wracking, but honestly, it was simple and painless. Within 24–48 hours, the food noise started disappearing, which was incredible. I didn’t feel hungry constantly anymore, and when I did eat, I felt full quickly – a total game-changer.

My weight has dropped steadily – over three stone since the end of March – without extreme side effects. I’ve stayed on a slow, steady dose plan to protect my hair, energy, and overall wellbeing. My diet has naturally shifted too: I crave salads, vegetables, and fish instead of sugary, stodgy foods.

Managing Side Effects

Nothing is perfect, and Mounjaro isn’t a miracle. My main side effects have been mild: occasional headaches, feeling colder than usual, some acid reflux, and constipation. I manage this with fibre gummies, prunes, and gentle supplements like Wild Dose, which works really well.

I’ve also kept active, averaging 7,000 steps a day, and take daily supplements – collagen, multivitamins, vitamin D, biotin, and extra protein – to support my body throughout this journey.

What’s Next?

I’m still learning, still growing, and still losing, but slowly and safely. My goal isn’t a number on the scale; it’s about feeling comfortable in my own skin, improving my relationship with food, and enjoying life again.
